Since I can't do #authortube, how about #authorblog instead? > . <

I can't remember how exactly I ended up stumbling upon #authortube, but long story short, I did, and honestly I wish I could do something like it, but...yeah, well, I do mean it when I say I'm shy. > . < So I was thinking...maybe I could blog about how this week turns out for me instead?

Monday (July 22)

Sunday night, I was planning to sleep really early (that's 10-ish for me), but then I woke up half past midnight, and I just had this crazy urge to do some crafting. I succumbed to the urge at around 3AM and I ended up crafting until 5 in the morning. > . <

Woke up around half-past nine, ate breakfast with the boys (that's my husband and cousin)...

I was planning to go back to sleep afterwards, but my husband asked if I could go with them instead. > . < So my plan to go back to sleep then write for the rest of the day? Basically hijacked.

The drive to Marikina was about an hour or so (my husband was overseeing the construction of a particular site), and while stuck inside the car I did random things like chatting with a fellow indie writer (say hello to the lovely Kirsten S. Blacketer) and posting to my Facebook page, asking readers what they thought about receiving a little something from me via snail mail...

I might also have done a bit of shopping online... > . <

Had lunch at Infinitea OTW, we spent about half an hour or so at the project site, and then it was back to Q.C.
Now, the reason my hubby wanted me to tag along was so we could finally have our panoramic X-rays taken at Dental World (SM North Edsa). We both need to have braces installed, but it's something I've been delaying for years since I know for a fact they hurt like hell, and my threshold for pain is...maybe...negative 1000?
Anyway, since we were already at the mall, made a little detour at The Craft Central and ended up doing a little bit of shopping (just less than $20). Dropped by the office at 1620H and went to the bank at around 1650H to have my biometrics taken for our new account.
Our last stop for the day was Wilcon, since the hubby needed to have a couple of light bulbs exchanged. While waiting, I did a bit of video editing for my non-author YT channel on crafting).
Had dinner at home (one of those instant 7-11 meals for me) and hubby made me coffee (if it's not obvious enough, I live for coffee) afterwards.
While hubby worked out in the living room, I headed up to our bedroom (which I consider my home office hahaha), did my daily check on sales and ranking, watched a few minutes of SONA and a couple of crafting vids on YouTube, opened one of my happy mails from a pen pal, and did a bit of crafting for it.
Every time I have a new release, I tend to obsess over it for its first 30 days, and The Billionaire Rancher's Unwanted Wife is no exception. So off I went to Amazon, and woohooo....it's still in the Hottest New Releases for Western Romances!
Picture
Its ranking is even better than what it was a couple of days ago, which is generally unheard of for my billionaire books. The way it usually works, the "older" the book gets, the greater its drop in ranking. After the first week or so, my books tend to be at the five-digit ranking already, but for some reason Rancher #3 is still holding strong at 5K+. I am beyond amazed and incredibly humbled and thankful for this. Above all else, I owe it to God and my readers and my husband. <3
Anyway, that's it for this Monday. It's 9:47 PM and I'm thinking I should see if I can get some writing done. Wish me luck!
P.S. Just to be clear - this is not how any weekday typically goes for me. I rarely get to leave the house during the day since I'm most likely asleep, having spent the previous night writing. Anyway, let's see how Tuesday works out. ;)

    Welcome!

    * Starting February 1, 2014, this blog will be dedicated to providing publishing tips for aspiring Filipino writers.
    * This blog is also where I share my theological views and how it affects my life and work as a writer. I consider myself an open-minded Catholic as I also have an uncle who's a Christian pastor. Luke 9:50 Jesus said to him, "Do not prevent him, for whoever is not against you is for you."
I believe with all my heart that it is our personal relationship with God that saves us and NOT RELIGION.
    * Readers, the stuff you want may be found here.
